Catherine Houard

Catherine and FrançoiseAfter studying History of Art in Belgium, Catherine moved to the United States with her family. She continued taking different courses in the art field and worked at the Bronx Botanical Garden in the rare books department. She was a constant visitor and student of the numerous museums and art galleries in the New York area.

After 14 wonderful years in the United States, she moved back to Belgium, her country of birth, and went back to school to complete very successfully a master degree in Art and Antiques Dealings and Expertise.


Françoise d'Ouvrier de la Saigne

Françoise's father was a renowned collector of Antiques and Tribal Art and she grew up surrounded by fine arts.

After Law school at the Free University of Brussels and working in that field for a few years, Françoise went back to her love of Antiques and worked as an antique furniture restorer for 20 years. She has an unerring eye for a genuine piece and is an expert in assessing restoration requirements.

She developed as well, over the years, an expertise in Silver and in the search for marks. She completed as well a master degree in Art and Antiques Dealings and Expertise.
